UTME: JAMB Listed Items Prohibited for Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has listed at least 19 items which it said remained prohibited for the over 1.8 million candidates taking the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The board said in its weekly bulletin obtained by our correspondent on Monday that the items were prohibited during its examinations, warning that candidates who breached the directive would be disallowed from taking the UTME.

JAMB Fixes March 23rd for 2019 UTME Mock Exam

JAMB says the mock exam was introduced to familiarize candidates with the conduct of computer based tests.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has reportedly fixed Saturday, March 23, 2019 for the conduct of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock exercise.

The exam body has therefore advised candidates to begin the printing of their mock examination notification slips from Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

Zidane has now returned to replace Santiago Solari and becomes Madrid’s third manager this season, signing a three-year contract until 2022.

Sanwo-Olu Emerge as Lagos State Governor

Babajide Sanwo-olu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state has emerged winner of the Saturday’s governorship election in the state, beating Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 533,304 votes.

For Agbaje, the margin of loss was higher than what he recorded in 2015, when he lost to outgoing Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. He then polled 659,738 votes to Ambode’s 812,394 Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede, Vice Chancellor, Obafemi Awolowo University and State Returning Officer for Lagos governorship election, said that Sanwo-olu polled 739, 445 votes to defeat Agbaje who scored 206, 141 votes.
