The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), is considering ways to utilize the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA)’s friendly window to allow Sunday Oliseh improve the quality of his players after the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Tanzania.

It would be recalled that NFF had earlier in the year agreed to play the Ghanaian national team on March 29, 2015 in London, but FIFA rejected the proposal, stating that it over-laps the new rule, which bars a team from playing international friendlies within three days in two confederations.
“There is a proposal for Nigeria to play against arch-rivals Ghana in London after they would have played the AFCON qualifier in Tanzania,” a top source informed AfricanFootball.com.“Discussions are on-going and we will just have to wait and see if this comes through.”
The Super Eagles play a crucial tie against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on September 5.
