The All Progressives Congress lawmaker said this while speaking with some political leaders in Ibokun on Sunday.

While Oyintiloye spoke in Ibokun, the Osun State Coordinator of the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organisation, Senator Mudasiru Husain, while addressing some leaders of the APC in the Ejigbo area of the state, said the President had ensured improvement in electricity supply to many homes across the country within his first 100 days.

Oyintiloye said   Buhari’s stance and policies had sent a strong signal to corrupt officials, adding that this has led to an increase in the revenue accruing to the government despite a steady decline in the price of crude oil.

The lawmaker said, “The machinery that President Buhari has been able to set in motion to fight security challenges deserves applause from Nigerians. The area of note is the order for the relocation of the Military Command Centre to the North-East, the most ravaged by insurgency.

“Also, the President has been able to harness resources through the single account remittance, which to a large extent has improved the revenue of the Federal Government   and established a proactive measure in curbing corruption.

“Due to a series of strategic interventions, more funds are coming to the Federal Government treasury and by extension, improving the economy. For instance, the nation’s foreign reserve rose by 1.12 percent in August from $31.08bn to $31.43bn which is a positive sign for the economy.”

Speaking at a separate event, Hussain, who represented Osun-West senatorial district at the upper legislative chamber between 2011 and 2015, noted that Buhari’s polices had given many Nigerians hope for a better tomorrow.
