Michael Arowosegbe has become a millionaire after he played the emPawa 13 jackpot with a stake of just N10 and correctly predicted 13 out of 13 games.Michael’s big win of N1,000,000 sees him become the first Nigerian of the year to win either the emPawa 13 or emPawa 17 Jackpot.
Arowosegbe, a student and aspiring music producer hadn’t been betting with betPawa for very long until his win, as he explained: “A close friend introduced me to betPawa in October 2018, the same friend also made me aware of the emPawa Jackpot. I made sure I did my research on the games and used head-to-heads to work out who to bet on.”
Remembering that moment of joy when he found out he was a winner, he said “It was just me and my brother in the room, and I was absolutely ecstatic when I realised I was a winner. My brother didn’t believe me for a while until I showed him my winnings. Since my win, I have told around 10 other people to bet with betPawa because I want everyone to win!”

Investing in his music studio and taxiing venture:
Having won his million, Arowosegbe has already put plans into action to support his ambitions in music and taxiing, stating: “I’ve already begun setting up my studio as well as also investing in a vehicle for my Uber and Bolt (former Taxify) accounts.” When asked whether it’ll be the end of his betting, he replied saying: “Definitely not! I’ve had a few little wins since my N1 million, and I plan on playing the next mid-week jackpot.”
Arowosegbe remains overjoyed with his big win but he’s also said that being lucky plays it part in winning, sharing his advice with others he said: “Winning with betPawa is amazing but remember it’s a game of luck. You must believe you can win it but should always play responsibly.”
